Shakib Al Hasan, captain of Bangladesh team is playing CPL right now. Bangladesh has a two-match T20I series against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) team in Dubai. But, the Bangladesh Cricket Board has asked Shakib Al Hasan not to leave his CPL contract midway.

With the unavailability of Shakib, the new captain has been announced in the 17-man Bangladesh team. Nurul Hasan has been appointed as the captain. He was ruled out of the Zimbabwe tour and Asia Cup squad due to injury.
Bangladesh’s team is almost the same as their team in the t20 world cup. To overcome the absence of Shakib, three out of the four standby players are included in the team which includes Rishad Hossain. Nurul Hasan is returning to the team after a finger surgery.
