On Wednesday, August 31, Hong Kong lost against India in Match 4 of the Asia Cup 2022 in Dubai, but the match was still successful for Hong Kong team since they fought valiantly despite the significant disparity in experience, talent, and resources between the two teams.
Virat Kohli (59) and Suryakumar Yadav (68) put on 98* in 7 overs to help India end their innings at 192/2 after Hong Kong skipper Nizakat Khan won the toss and elected to bowl first. India was in a lot of trouble at 94/2 in 13 overs with captain Rohit Sharma and vice-captain KL Rahul back in the pavilion.
India defeated Hong Kong by 40 runs to advance to the Super-4 stage of the competition. Hong Kong batted their 20 overs to lose only five wickets while scoring 152 runs, led by the batsmen Babar Hayat (41), Kinchit Shah (30), and Zeeshan Ali (26*).

Kinchit Shah Proposes Girlfriend
All-rounder Kinchit Shah, 26, of Hong Kong, who has played in 10 ODIs and 44 T20 Internationals, added to the celebration by popping the question to his girlfriend at the stadium following the game. The young couple hugged after accepting his proposal and shared a moment of celebration.
Kinchit Shah’s supporters rejoiced for him as well, praising the cricketer for his well-received proposal.
