Chris Gayle has many records in his name in T20. He is one of the most destructive batsmen in cricket history. In CPL, he has a list of records in his name. He hit the most number of sixes in CPL. But now, this record is broken by none other than one of his teammates, a player of his own country.

West Indies left-handed batsman Evin Lewis broke Chris gayle’s record and become the batsman to hit the most sixes in the CPL. In 86 matches he played in CPL, he smashed 173 sixes in total. In the last match he played against St. Lucia Kings, he hit two sixes for St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots claimed this record in his name. Now, he has returned to the West Indies team for the t20 world cup.

Chris Gayle is now in the second spot on the list of hitting most sixes in CPL with 85 sixes. Kieron Pollard is in the third spot with 152 sixes. Lendl Simmons and Andre Russell are next on the list with 133 and 124 sixes respectively.
