CPL 2022: Guyana Amazon Warriors secured their place in playoffs

Guyana Amazon Warriors secured their place in the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2022 playoffs with a 37-run win over Trinbago Knight Riders here on Sunday.

The Warriors have seven points from nine matches. They have brought their numbers to nine with wins and were second behind Barbados Royals, who have 16 points from nine matches.

The three teams, St. Lucia Kings, Jamaica Tallawahs and St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots, have eight points each, but St. Lucia and Tallawahs have one match each. Trinbago Knights Riders are on seven points and have played all 10 matches and are out of the running for a place in the play-offs.
