Batsmen to look out for the T20 World Cup 2022

Date:

The ICC Men’s T20 World cup is set to begin in Australia, and here are some batsmen that you should look out for at the World Cup.

Suryakumar Yadav (India)

Suryakumar Yadav, one of the white ball format’s cleanest hitters, has recently displayed some exceptional abilities. In the IPL, Team India and the Mumbai Indians have benefited from his reckless playing style. A century and a strike rate of 173.29 in just 26 innings make him one of the most dangerous hitters in the T20 format. Since his debut in 2021, Suryakumar Yadav has amassed 811 runs. He possesses the power and ability to smash big sixes and clear Australia’s lengthy boundaries.

Ibrahim Zadran (Afghanistan)

Ibrahim Zadran appears to be a promising cricket player for Afghanistan based on his efforts during the just finished Asia Cup. He finished the Asia Cup as the third-highest run scorer, after only Virat Kohli and Mohammad Rizwan. The 20-year-old batsman shown excellent consistency throughout the competition and has the chance to develop into one of the most dangerous players for Afghanistan.

Liam Livingstone (England)

Livingstone is a powerful batsman with all the skills necessary to rank among the best cricket players in history. He has 368 runs scored and 100 runs scored in 19 innings. In both the IPL and the international circuit, he has demonstrated his abilities. The 29-year-old is one of the ICC T20 World Cup’s most dangerous batters this year.

David Miller (South Africa)

One of the finest cricketers to come out of South Africa is undoubtedly David Miller. He has shown to be one of the most dangerous batsmen with the ability to easily clear the boundaries. He has demonstrated his ability to win games for both his nation and every other team he has played for.

Miller helped Gujarat Titans win the IPL earlier this year and contributed significantly to the squad by hitting 481 runs with a strike rate of 142.72. South Africa’s captain Temba Bavuma will be depending on his performance as they continue their pursuit of the ICC Trophy.

Glenn Maxwell (Australia)

Maxwell has created a place for himself and is in a league of his own thanks to his unconventional batting approach. Like AB De Villiers, Maxwell is famous for his unconventional cricketing knocks.

With one of the greatest strike rates in cricket (153.38), he is the most dreaded and hazardous player to bowl against. Maxwell has now been a member of two Australian teams that have won the World Cup, most recently in the UAE last year. Like Aaron Finch, he will pose a threat to any given opponent.
