Former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq has questioned the frequent changes in the playing XI of the Indian team. He has said that Team India is making a lot of changes in its playing XI. Inzamam-ul-Haq cited the example of Dinesh Karthik for how he was dropped from the Super-4 match against Pakistan without playing a single ball.

Dinesh Karthik played in the group stage match against Pakistan, where he got a chance to play only one ball on which he took a single. At the same time, his batting did not come in the match against Hong Kong. When the Indian team once again faced Pakistan in the Super-4 against Pakistan, Dinesh Karthik was dropped. He is dropped from match against Sri Lanka as well.
