Pakistan has made changes in its T20 World Cup team. Fakhar Zaman has been included in the team. Usman Qadir has been dropped from the team. As Qadir could not recover from the injury, Fakhar was included in the fifteen-man squad.
Qadir suffered a hairline fracture in his right thumb during the T20I series against England in Karachi. He has failed to fully recover from it. In such a situation, the Pakistan team needed a replacement for the T20 World Cup.

Fakhar Zaman, who will arrive in Brisbane from London along with Shaheen Shah Afridi on Saturday, will be available for selection in two warm-up matches against England and Afghanistan (October 19), during which the team management will also assess the batsman’s fitness. Pakistan’s team will play its first match in the T20 World Cup against India on 23 October. Pakistan won the T20 World Cup match between the two teams last year.
This time the Pakistan team has shown excellent form. In the tri-series held in New Zealand, Pakistan won the tournament by defeating the hosts in the final. In such a situation, it can be said that with the arrival of Shaheen Afridi and Fakhar Zaman, the team will be stronger.
