Babar Azam and Kane Williamson left for Melbourne for T20 World Cup, PCB shared the video


Pakistan team captain Babar Azam and New Zealand cricket team captain Kane Williamson have left for Australia for the T20 World Cup. This information was given by the Pakistan Cricket Board. The PCB shared a video about this in its Twitter account.

The PCB shared a video of Babar and Williamson in its official Twitter account. At the beginning of this video, both the players can be seen in the car. After this both the players go to the airport and they are also seen sitting in the flight. 

Both the players were playing in the tri-series played against Pakistan, New Zealand and Bangladesh. Today in the final of this series, Pakistan defeated New Zealand by 5 wickets. At the end of the series, both these players have left for Australia.

Players before the World Cup make some media commitments. They have to reach on time for shoots and other things which is why both these players have left immediately after the final. Both players are captains of their country’s teams. In such a situation, both of them have more responsibilities. This video shared by PCB has been viewed more than 50 thousand times so far.

In the final match between the two teams, New Zealand batted first and scored 163 runs. Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf took 2 wickets each for Pakistan. At the same time, on behalf of the Pakistan team chasing the target, Mohammad Nawaz scored an unbeaten 38 off 22 balls. Haider Ali made 31 off 15 balls and Iftikhar Ahmed scored an unbeaten 25 off 14 balls. Pakistan achieved this target by losing 5 wickets.
