At the Harare Sports Club on Saturday, India defeated Zimbabwe by five wickets to clinch the three-match One-Day International series with one game remaining. Shardul Thakur took 3-38 in the victory. Following their decision to bowl, India bowled the home team out for 161, then easily chased down their goal with 24.2 overs left, adding to their previous triumph by 10 wickets on Thursday at the same location.

All six Indian bowlers took wickets, but Thakur stood out for his brilliant swing bowling, dismissing opener Innocent Kaia (16), skipper Regis Chakabva (2), and Luke Jongwe (6). Sean Williams led Zimbabwe with a run-a-ball 42, while Ryan Burl was left stranded on 39 at the end of the innings.
