The Asia cup is all set to begin and the dates are announced as well. Asia Cup 2022 will be hosted by UAE. The tournament was earlier scheduled to be played in Sri Lanka but due to ongoing political and economical unrest inside the nation, the Asian Cricket Council changed the venue of the premier tournament to UAE.

Asia cup 2022 groups
A total of 6 teams will be participating in this Asia Cup 2022. The 5 teams are confirmed which includes India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan. The 6th team will be finalized through a qualifier which will be played among UAE, Kuwait, Hong Kong and Singapore. The teams are divided into 2 groups. The details of which are provided below.

Asia cup 2022 schedule
The Asia cup schedule has been confirmed and it will begin on August 27 this year and the final of the tournament will be played on September 11. The venue of the Asia cup has also been shifted from Sri Lanka to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with the Asian Cricket Council (ACC).
