Many fans and analysts are uncertain about Sanju Samson’s future with the national team after learning that he was left off Team India’s T20 World Cup roster. Yet, it appears that the skipper of the Rajasthan Royals (RR) is still part of the “Indian team’s plans,” as stated by BCCI President Sourav Ganguly. Additionally, he announced he was chosen for the forthcoming ODI series against South Africa.
He said this prior to the first Twenty20 International between India and South Africa: “Sanju is doing a good job. He represented India, but he almost missed the World Cup. The Indian squad has ambitions for him. He will now play in the ODI against South Africa. Additionally, he is the Captain and has had success with the IPL franchise.”
Samson will want to put up a good display when the ODI series against South Africa begins out on October 6 in Lucknow.

Rohit Sharma after the match
Rohit Sharma, the skipper, remarked after the game, “The wicket was challenging. Playing a game like that teaches you a lot. You are aware of the difficult tasks the team must do. Playing such a game was enjoyable. We anticipated some support for the bowlers once they noticed grass on the field, but we did not anticipate it for the entire 20 overs. It remained moist. Both sides participated in the game, and the squad that performed better emerged victorious. We had a strong start and quickly picked up five wickets; it proved to be the turning moment.”
“We anticipated it wouldn’t be simple. You must follow the rules. The combination between KL and Surya helped us reach home despite losing two wickets, he added.
