Former Indian player Saba Karim says that Australia is a fearsome team and the team is a strong contender to win the ICC T20 World Cup. Australia will take on the defending champions in the upcoming World Cup and will look to defend the title at the home event.

I think they have a scary side and are a favorite. This is because they are playing on Australian soil and the kind of changes they have brought in the team shows that they are in sync with what is required to win such tournaments in Australia.
Australia had announced its squad for the T20 World Cup a few days back. The Kangaroo team has made only one change in the World Cup winning squad played last year and has brought in explosive batsman Tim David in place of Mitchell Swepson. Australia will not need more spinners, which is why they have included an extra batsman.
Tim David has had a stellar performance in T20s. For this reason, Australia has included him directly in the squad. He made his debut for Australia against India in Mohali and scored 18 runs in 14 balls. He sided with Matthew Wade and played a half-century partnership and took Australia close to the target.
