India defeated Pakistan by five wickets in a gripping thriller on Sunday night at the Dubai International Stadium during the Asia Cup 2022. The top all-rounder for Team India, Hardik Pandya, finished the 148-run chase with two balls remaining.
Following India’s Asia Cup match against Pakistan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium yesterday, Momin Saqib, a Pakistani social media influencer who rose to fame online with the “Maro Mujhe Maro” meme, met Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya. In light of Team India’s T20 victory over Pakistan, Momin praised Kohli and Pandya.
Near the boundary ropes, the influencer came across the Indian players as Kohli and Saqib greeted one other in Punjabi. Saqib posted a video of the same event on social media with the following caption: “A great sportsman and a humble personality. The one and only @imVkohli Good to see him back in form! What a game tonight! Shall see you in the Final!”

Kohli and Pandya’s performance
After a break of more than a month, Kohli played again and made 35 runs off of 34 deliveries, including three fours and one six. On the other hand, Pandya remained in top form and was also chosen as Player of the Match. With the bat, he made an undefeated 33 from 17 deliveries, while with the ball, he finished off his four-over spell by taking three wickets and giving up just 25 runs.
It was definitely a thrilling match between India and Pakistan. Both teams performed well and made sure that the fans will be entertained till the last over of the match. Fans from both sides were satisfied with the match that they were waiting very eagerly for months.
