After the defeat against Pakistan, the Indian team’s hopes of winning the title of Asia Cup 2022 have suffered a major setback. If India wins both their remaining matches and Pakistan team defeats Sri Lanka, then the host team will also be out of this tournament. However, if the Sri Lankan team wins their next two matches, then it will depend on the run rate. The net run rate of Sri Lanka and Pakistan is currently in plus.

Pakistan defeated the Indian team by 5 wickets in the group stage match of Asia Cup. Batting first, the Indian team made a huge total of 181 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. In reply, Pakistan achieved this target in 19.5 overs by losing 5 wickets. The batting of the Indian team was good but the bowling was not that good. If India has to win this tournament then they have to improve their bowling.
