Sourav Ganguly said a big thing about Sanju Samson not getting a place in the T20 World Cup team

Date:

Sanju Samson has not been included in the Indian team for the T20 World Cup. For this reason some of his fans are also angry. At the same time, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has given a big reaction to Samson not getting a place in the T20 World Cup team. According to Ganguly, he is confident that Samson will return to the team.

Sanju Samson, who captained Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2022, has performed brilliantly in the T20 Internationals played this year. However, despite this, he was not made a part of India’s squad for the T20 World Cup. There is also a lot of criticism from the selectors for this.

Sanju Samson will be part of the series against South Africa – Sourav Ganguly

During a conversation with reporters, Sourav Ganguly was also asked a question about Samson. In response he said,

Sanju Samson is playing very well. He has played very well for India, just he could not make it to the World Cup team. Although I am sure he will be back soon. According to me, he will also be a part of the ODI series against South Africa. He performed well in the IPL while captaining the Rajasthan Royals.

Recently Sanju Samson was appointed as the captain of India A team for the three-match ODI series against New Zealand A. This team also includes players like Prithvi Shaw, Rituraj Gaikwad, Kuldeep Yadav and Shardul Thakur who have also been part of the senior team. India A, led by Samson, performed well against New Zealand A. At the same time, there is every possibility that Samson will be selected in the Indian team for the South Africa series.
