The Indian team defeated Bangladesh with a bang to claim the top spot in the Group 2 table of the T20 World Cup. Team India succeeded in defeating Bangladesh team according to Duckworth-Lewis rule. Shakib Al Hasan said that it happens every time. He also reacted to the team’s batting.
Shakib Al Hasan said that whenever we play against India, this has been the story. We are almost on the winning side but can’t cross the line. Both the teams enjoyed it, it was a great game and that’s what we wanted. In the end someone has to win and someone has to lose.

Regarding Liton Das’s batting, Shakib said that he is our best batsman. The way he batted in the powerplay, we got a lot of momentum and we thought we could chase that score here in the short boundaries. If you look at India’s top four, they are extremely dangerous. Our plan was to get those 4 out and so we got Taskin to bowl. Unfortunately he didn’t take wickets but he was very economical. We are very relaxed and not talking much about cricket in this World Cup. We have one more match to play and we want to focus on that.
Batting first, Team India made a big score of 184 runs. Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli scored half-centuries for the Indian team. Suryakumar Yadav also played a quick 30-run knock. After this Bangladesh added 66 runs in 7 overs and the game was stopped after rain. Later Bangladesh got the target of 151 runs in 16 overs but they could reach only 145 runs.
