India made a big score in the first innings, Bangladesh also batted tremendously in the second innings

On the third day of the first unofficial Test (BN-A vs IN-A) against India, hosts Bangladesh batted well and scored 172/1 for the loss of one wicket at the end of the day’s play. Zakir Hasan is unbeaten on 81 and Najmul Hossain Shanto is unbeaten on 56 at the crease. Earlier, India had scored 465/5 in the first innings and took a lead of 353 runs. Bangladesh is still 181 runs behind India’s score.

At the beginning of the day, yesterday’s unbeaten batsman Tilak Verma retired hurt on a personal score of 33 runs. Upendra Yadav batted well and he managed to score a half-century. He was unbeaten on 71 when India declared their innings. Along with him, Atit Seth also returned unbeaten after scoring 8 runs. The team scored 465/5 in their first innings batting 132 overs. Bangladesh got six overs to bat before lunch and scored 13 runs without loss.

After lunch, the pair of Mahmudul Hasan Joy and Zakir Hasan managed to put on a half-century partnership. The first blow to the team was on the score of 71. Mahmudul Hasan became the victim of Saurabh Kumar after scoring 21 runs. From here the team did not suffer any more setbacks and by tea they had scored 83 runs in 33 overs at the loss of one wicket.
