In the group stage of the 2022 Asia Cup, Team India will play Hong Kong on August 31, while Pakistan will play them on September 2.
Hong Kong, headed by Nizakat Khan, edged out the hosts United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 8 wickets to advance to the Asia Cup 2022 competition, which begins on Saturday (August 27). During the qualifying match for the 2022 Asia Cup at Al Ameerat in Oman, Hong Kong was the only unbeaten team. Group A of the 2022 Asia Cup will include HK, Team India under Rohit Sharma, and Pakistan under Babar Azam.

On Sunday, an exciting match between Pakistan and India will kick off Group A. (August 28). Before the Super 4 stage begins, India will play Hong Kong on August 31 and Pakistan will play Hong Kong on September 2.
The last qualification game saw UAE bat first and set Hong Kong a 148-run target. UAE had trouble getting going. Early on, they dropped three wickets. The best bowler was Ehsan Khan, who finished with 4/24. Zarwar Farid scored 41 points on 27 balls, while UAE captain CP Rizwan scored 49 points overall.

Nizakat Khan and Yasim Murtaza added 85 runs for the opening stand, giving Hong Kong a quick start in the chase. Babar Hayat and Kinchit Shah finished the proceedings with 6 balls remaining after Nizakat and Yasim were both out. While Hayat was still unbeaten at 38 off 26 balls, Yasi Murtaza slammed a 58-ball score in 43 balls.
