Saint Lucia Kings are currently in the second spot on the CPL 2022 points table. They have played nine matches and have won four out of them. They lost five games and this is the same thing with the Jamaica Tallawahs.
Two finals in two years speak for themselves, and this year’s Kings team appears to be title material. The new bowling enhancements should allow for more frequent and successful ball strikes. Saint Lucia Kings’ performance in the previous season of CPL
Another year of false hope for St. Lucia Kings, who after making it to the CPL final for the second year in a row, fell short as St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots won the championship in a nail-biting final-ball match. Despite having a very uneventful group stage record of five wins and five defeats, they easily advanced to the championship game.
Faf du Plessis, who led the Kings to victory in the previous game, scored 277 runs, and Tim David also had a productive game, averaging 35.25 runs per game.

Will Saint Lucia Kings win CPL 2022?
With his easy striking and lethal power, du Plessis—a guy who hardly needs an introduction—has been an imperious talent for a generation. The 38-year-old started the competition in excellent condition after hitting 438 runs in the 2022 IPL, so it’s ideal. In eight innings in CPL 2022, du Plessis has scored 291 and also smashed one century. He is in great form and will definitely show some good shots in further matches. He could be the first captain to raise the Kings’ trophy.
The CPL has emerged as Chase’s tournament too. He and Scott Kuggeleijn, who scored 17 times for the Kings in 2020, have the ability to create havoc with the ball. In the CPL 2022, he has played all the matches but did not show his true skills yet. However, his economy rate is still pretty good at 7.51.
Their strongest position is unquestionably batting. They don’t have a weak bowling attack. Quality exists in their bowlers like Kuggeleijn, Chase, David Wiese, Jeavor Royal, and Alzarri Joseph, but their performances with the pads on and the Chase-David-du Plessis trio are considerably more impressive. Alzarri Joseph, however, appears considerably differently in CPL 2022. He has so far claimed 16 wickets, which is the most now. He appears to be in excellent shape with the ball.
