In the current edition of the T20 World Cup, the effect of rain is being seen continuously and now another match has been declared canceled. England was to face Australia in the 26th match of the tournament, but rain disrupted the match and the toss was not possible.
The rain stopped for some time in the middle, and it seemed that a few overs could be seen but once again it started raining and the umpires announced the cancellation of the match.

Due to the cancellation of the match, both England and Australia got one point each. The starting four teams in Group 1 have three points each. New Zealand is on top with the best net run rate. England and Ireland are in second and third place respectively. Australia is in fourth place. Two points were very important for England but with the match being canceled, the road ahead could be difficult for them.

Talking about Australia, the team has to play its next two matches against Ireland and Afghanistan. Ireland had done a shocking job beating England, so Australia would not make the mistake of taking it lightly. On the other hand, Afghanistan had to face defeat in their first match and their next two matches were canceled.
