Two matches were played in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) on Sunday. In the first match, Barbados Royals beat Jamaica Tallawahs by 8 wickets. In the second match, St Lucia Kings defeated St Kitts and Nevis Patriots by 61 runs.
Playing first, Jamaica Talawas scored 156 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Captain Rovman Powell scored 52 runs off 31 balls. At the same time, Ramon Reifer played an innings of 41 runs off 26 balls. For Barbados, Obed McCoy took 3 for 24 and Jason Holder took 2 for 24.

Captain Faf du Plessis looked in great form and played a tremendous innings of 60 runs in 35 balls with the help of 3 fours and 5 sixes. Apart from him, Johnson Charles also scored 41 runs in 32 balls. In reply, the St Kitts team was reduced to just 100 runs in 19 overs. David Wiese took 3 for 17 in 4 overs and Matthew Ford also took 3 for 19.
Barbados Royals is at number one in the points table with 5 wins from 5 matches. On the other hand, St Kitts has got this first win in 6 matches and is in fourth position.
