New Milestone for Rashid Khan
In 68 T20Is, Rashid Khan has already taken 115 wickets. Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh is the top wicket-taker in T20 International matches (122). On Tuesday, Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan surpassed the second-highest wicket-taker in the T20I format.
The prominent Afghan bowler reached this milestone during his team’s Asia Cup 2022 match against Bangladesh in Group B.
Mahmudullah was dismissed by Rashid in the 16th over of Bangladesh’s innings as the batter attempted a slog sweep but was caught by Ibrahim Zadran at deep midwicket. At a score of 89 runs, Bangladesh lost its sixth wicket. Mahmudullah was out after 27 balls, scoring 25.
