#3 Deepak Chahar (India)

During the third T20 played against West Indies in February 2022, Indian fast bowler Deepak Chahar suffered a thigh muscle strain, after which he could not play in the T20 series played against Sri Lanka due to this injury. Fans had full hope that this right-arm bowler would be fully fit before the start of IPL 2022.

In IPL 2022, Chahar was made a part of the team by Chennai Super Kings by spending a hefty amount of 14 crores, but while recovering from injury at NCA, he was caught by a back injury. After this his scan was done, then it was found that the injury is serious and Chahar will have to stay away from cricket for about four months. In IPL 2022, Chahar was ruled out of the entire season without playing any match.

In August 2022, the right-arm bowler returned to Team India from the ODI series played against Zimbabwe. After this Chahar also played a match against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup 2022. Chahar was kept by the BCCI in the list of reserve players for the T20 World Cup 2022. Jasprit Bumrah was expected to replace him in the main team after his exit from the tournament, but he got injured again before the start of the one-day series against South Africa. Due to this injury, Chahar has also missed playing in the T20 mega event.

#2 Ravindra Jadeja (India)

Ravindra Jadeja, one of the leading all-rounders of the Indian cricket team, will not be able to play in the T20 World Cup this time. Jadeja also played only two matches in the recently concluded Asia Cup. After this, this left-handed player became a victim of injury during adventure activity. Due to this injury, Jadeja was first ruled out of the Asia Cup and then the T20 World Cup.

Significantly, Jadeja played 10 matches for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2022 and was later ruled out of the tournament due to a rib injury.

#1 Jofra Archer (England)

In the mega auction held before the start of IPL 2022, Mumbai Indians bought Jofra Archer for eight crores and made him a part of the team. Archer was recovering from an elbow injury before the start of the season and wanted to return to the field through county cricket. This was the reason why Archer could not play any match for Mumbai in this season of IPL.

Soon after the IPL season, he began his training sessions to make a comeback. Unfortunately, at the same time, Archer suffered a stress fracture in his right elbow. Because of this, he was away from the field for several months and the opportunity to play the T20 World Cup was also lost.
