The T20 World Cup 2022 started on 16 October and Sri Lanka and Netherlands from Group A of the first round and Zimbabwe and Ireland from Group B qualified for the Super 12. Super 12 started from 22 October and its matches will be played till 6 November. This will be followed by the semi-finals on November 9 and 10 and the final on November 13.
If we talk about the bowlers who took the most wickets in the T20 World Cup, last year in 2021, Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga took the highest 16 wickets. Before him Mohammad Nabi (12) of Afghanistan in 2016, Imran Tahir of South Africa and Ahsan Malik (12 of Netherlands) in 2014, Ajantha Mendis (15) of Sri Lanka in 2012, Dirk Nannes (14) of Australia in 2010, 2009 and In 2007, Umar Gul (13-13 wickets) of Pakistan took the most wickets.
