The T20 World Cup 2022 started on 16 October and Sri Lanka and Netherlands from Group A of the first round and Zimbabwe and Ireland from Group B qualified for the Super 12. Super 12 started from 22 October and its matches will be played till 6 November. This will be followed by the semi-finals on November 9 and 10 and the final on November 13.
If we talk about the batsmen who scored the most runs in the T20 World Cup, then in 2021 last year, Babar Azam of Pakistan had scored the highest 303 runs. Before that, Bangladesh’s Tamim Iqbal (295) in 2016, Virat Kohli (319) in 2014, Australia’s Shane Watson (249), Sri Lanka’s Mahela Jayawardene (302) in 2010, Sri Lanka’s Tillakaratne Dilshan (317) in 2009 and In 2007, Australia’s Matthew Hayden (265) had scored the highest run.
