Barbados Royals defeated Guyana Amazon Warriors to seal their place in the playoffs of the Caribbean Premier League 2022 (CPL 2022). Team won by 29 runs by Duckworth-Lewis method. Amazon Warriors won the toss and opted to bowl first and the decision proved to be correct.
Taking wickets at regular intervals, Amazon Warriors pushed the Royals on the back foot. After this the pair of Jason Holder and Mujeeb Ur Rahman batted well. Rain overs were cut. Royals scored 107/6 in 16 overs. Holder, who played for KL Rahul-led Lucknow Supergiants (LSG) in IPL, scored an unbeaten 40 off 33 balls with the help of 3 sixes and 1 four. Mujeeb played an unbeaten 19 off 9 balls.
