The eyes of these top 4 teams will be on confirming their place in the final. In the final match of the league stage, Guyana Amazon Warriors defeated Barbados Royal by 5 wickets to secure their place in the top 2 on the points table. In the final match, Guyana Amazon Warriors won the toss and decided to bowl. Batting first, Barbados Royal were all out for 125 in 17.3 overs. In reply, Guyana Amazon Warriors chased this target in 14.3 overs. Saqib Al Hasan was adjudged the player of the match in this match. He played an innings of 53 runs in 30 balls and also took one wicket for 12 runs.
When will the CPL 2022 playoffs be?
Qualifier (1) of CPL will be played on 27th September. In this, the team of Guyana Amazon Warriors and Barbados Royal will clash with each other. The Eliminator will be played on 28 September. In this, the team of Jamaica Tallawahs and St. Lucia Kings will face each other. The second qualifier will be played on 29 September while the final will be played on 01 October.
How will the CPL 2022 playoff matches be?
In CPL also the playoffs are organized like the IPL. In this, Qualifier 1 will be played between the top two teams and the Eliminator will be played between the third and fourth ranked teams. Whereas the team winning in Qualifier 1 will qualify for the final and the team winning the Eliminator and the team losing in Qualifier 1 will compete in Qualifier 2 for their place in the final.
