When the pitch provides enough support, both fast bowlers and spinners pose difficulties for the batsman. The fact that teams win the tournament is proof that the bowlers contributed significantly as well. Many bowlers from all the teams showed flashes of form, but only a few made our list of the best bowlers.
Alzarri Joseph (St Lucia Kings)
With the ball, Alzarri Joseph is still in the lead after taking six wickets in the second week of the CPL to bring his total to 12. The best of his efforts came against the Barbados Royals, when he took three wickets and finished with figures of 3 for 32. Against the St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots, he took two more wickets and bowled a maiden, ending with figures of 2 for 19 overall.
Obed McCoy (Barbados Royals)
The West Indies T20I lineup frequently includes Obed McCoy. He has recently had outstanding performances. Obed McCoy is a clear match winner, despite the fact that he went for plenty in his most recent game against the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Sixty60 competition. His bowling arsenal is really diverse.
He has the ability to bowl off cutters and slower Yorkers with accuracy, which can be problematic for batters. He keeps the hitters quiet when they want to go all out by bowling a death over.

Kyle Mayers (Barbados Royals)
His bowling statistics against the Jamaica Tallawahs of 1 for 11 from three overs, which included the wicket of opener Brandon King for 0 runs, were particularly outstanding. The 30-year-proficiency old’s in his position as Barbados’ first bowler is rising. With the bat, he ignited his team’s match against TKR with a scorching 52 (33), and he also got off to a strong start against St. Lucia Kings (33 off 26). He is having a 4.71 economy rate in CPL 2022.
Mohammad Amir (Jamaica Tallawahs)
It would be unwise to overlook Mohammad Amir’s contributions. He took three wickets against the St. Lucia Kings, two against the TKR (Sunil Narine and Nicholas Pooran), and one against the Barbados Royals. He also took two for 15 against the TKR. This week, he just allowed four boundaries and bowled 29 dot balls in his 12 overs. Only Joseph (12) has taken more wickets than Amir (10), and he has a 5.55 economy.
Akeal Hosein (Trinbago Knight Riders)
The West Indies T20I cricket team relies heavily on Akeal Hosein. At the international level, he has been playing outstanding cricket against powerful cricketing nations. In T20 cricket, Akeal Hosein excels at keeping the batsmen quiet.
He has only played one game for the TKR, but in that game, he had four wickets for just 13 runs. He will undoubtedly assist his team in winning several matches as he plays in more matches.
Hosein has played 79 T20 matches so far, taking 59 wickets at an outstanding economy of 6.44 and averaging 25.49. His bowling average of 4/30 is his best.
